The Quantum Coach For Business Success
How To Acquire The Mind-Set For Marketing

I always heard people say don’t quit on your dreams….. wanted to believe it ………. thought i believed it ….. but never saw anything exterior to say that …. yes it is a true statement….. however; I have found new hope and belief that this is true.. how? ….

Well, lets just say when you become the right kind of person.. you begin to attract the right kind of people.

I remember when my dad used to tell me ….usually when I did something stupid…. “You Made Your Bed.” .. yeah you fill in the blank.  Then I came to the Beama Revalation if failure is my fault and others see it…… and I see it……. Then can I make success my fault too?

I hear that no one is self made…. but only Millionaires will admit it……

Geez,… Margaret, if you are still angry with all the tapes and books I surrounded myself with ….. what do think happens when it all takes root….

Yeah Boy!… It made it to the good ground and now the harvest is assured!

The paradigm shift in your mind takes time….. most won’t allow it to grow…..

But those that do…. yield good fruit….

I believe that about  you….

Let’s start with “What are the 7 Habits”:

1. Be Proactive:

This habit is about taking personal responsibility for our choices (and the consequences of those choices). One does not attribute outside influences (such as moods, feelings, circumstances) to the consequences of one’s choices. Rather, we acknowledge our outcomes to be a product of the choices we have made.

This first habit, although it might sound simple or easy, is really one the more difficult habits to master.

Perhaps the easiest way to think of it is “stimulus and response”. Stimulus comes at us all the time, and not all of it is good. We naturally respond. We often respond immediately and reactively. Be Proactive suggests that we find that little special snippet of time between the “stimulus” and our “response”. In that gap is where we choose what our reaction might be.

For example, if someone cuts you off as you are driving in downtown Chicago; you might easily react in negative manner. You might secretly be a road-rager! Gesturing, yelling, acting aggressively. Consider for a moment how you might alter your behavior if the same thing happened on the street you live on? On your way into your child’s school? As you are pulling into a local restaurant?

As you think through this, be honest with yourself. Might you withhold some, or all, of your negative reaction if you thought you might be yelling at (or gesturing at) your neighbor, or the parent of your child’s friend, or someone you might be seated next to at dinner?

Looking at it this way, we can see that we really do have the ability to choose and not just to react. Much of our behavior is dictated by what we anticipate the consequence to our behavior to be. You see, we do have some room for improvement here!

2. Begin with the End in Mind:

This is the habit of vision – your end result or outcome. In effect, this habit suggests we live by design, and not by default. Examples of this are your company’s mission statement, or you own personal mission statement, even your annual, 5-year or 10-year goals.

It can easily become our habit to do today what we did yesterday and do tomorrow what we did today. This cycle can go on for years. It is entirely unproductive as we are missing the opportunity to do the things today that will get us to where we want to be tomorrow, or next year, or in ten years.

3. Put first things First:

This is the habit of integrity and execution. In other words, we’ve decided to be responsible for our choices/decisions (Habit 1), and we have an outcome/goal in mind (Habit 2) and now we put in place the steps to achieve our outcome (Habit 3).

This habit is often referred to as the time management habit. In addition to knowing what the end result should look like, the key to putting first things first, is to know what the first thing should be. What are your “big rocks” (major priorities)?

This is the habit of prioritizing and staying on track with those priorities. Don’t allow non-urgent and unimportant tasks to take your time from those that are urgent and/or important.

4. Think Win-Win:

This is the habit of “mutual benefit”. In other words, effective, long-term relationships require mutual respect and mutual benefit.

This habit suggests we move out of the mindset of scarcity (there is only so much to go around, and the more you get the less there is for me), and move into the mindset of abundance (there is plenty out there for everyone, and more to spare).

When we Think Win-Win, we strive to find a solution that works for both parties.
In our highly competitive society, it does not come easily to think win-win. It is in this collaborative spirit that we build real relationships and trust.

5. Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood:

This is the habit of mutual understanding. In order to communicate effectively, we must first understand each other.

Typically, we listen with the intent to reply. Think about it, we formulate our response while the other is still speaking!

This habit suggests we listen with intent to understand. Only after we are assured we understand the perspective of the other, do we proceed to make our point known. It takes much practice and discipline to hold our tongue and withhold our response. Commit to trying to seek first to understand!

6. Synergize:

The definition of “synergy” can most easily be explained as “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”.
Rather than finding a solution that is either my way, your way, or a compromise, we believe that together we can create a better way than either of us could have alone, and we do so without compromise.

One can only get to the point of true synergy when they have effectively practiced the preceding habits. If you don’t go into the discussion wanting a “win” for both parties (Habit 4) , and if you are listening only to reply (Habit 5), you will not find a truly synergistic solution.

Trying to achieve the goal of synergy is often reserved for big decisions with significant consequences. It’s not necessary to go for synergy every time the family goes out for dinner!

7. Sharpen the Saw:

To maintain and increase effectiveness, we must renew ourselves in body, heart, mind and soul.

So often, we find ourselves running the race of life without refueling. We can do this for quite some time and still be quite productive. However, inevitably it catches up with us. When it does, we feel out of balance, we lose our effectiveness and we may even jeopardize our health, both physical and mental.

The overarching philosophy of the 7 Habits is this:

The first three habits (Be Proactive, Begin With the End in Mind, Put First Things First) describe our “Private Victory”. In other words, this is all about the work we do improving ourselves.

One does not study the 7 Habits to “fix others”. One studies the 7 Habits to live life in alignment with their values and be willing to take responsibility for their choices. This practice builds our trustworthiness.

The next three habits (Think Win-Win, Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood, and Synergize) describe our “Public Victory”. In other words, this is how we interact with others. The relationships we build with others help us build our trust in others. We operate in a world that is interdependent.

Now, let’s take the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and look at how we might apply the 7 Habits to the sales process.

I like to call it the 7 Habits of Relationship-Based Selling.

1. Be Proactive: Your attitude towards sales – or the paradigm that you have – will largely determine your outcomes.

Take a minute and jot down some adjectives that come to mind when you think of salespeople. Were any of your answers a bit on the negative side? This is very common…

We have the ability to reframe our mindset or paradigm for selling (or for anything else, for that matter). For example: If you view selling (or salespeople) as pushy, annoying, insincere, fast-talkers, this negative image will stand in the way of helping others. You can make the choice to view selling in a positive way.

If you choose to view selling (or salespeople) as partners, helpers, educators, solution-finders, consultants, this positive image will help you create positive outcomes.

2. Begin With the End in Mind: What is your vision? Your goal? What outcome are you trying to achieve?

Envision outcomes before you act. If you are making a call, what do you want to accomplish from that call? If you are meeting in person, what do you hope to accomplish during this meeting? Be very clear in knowing what outcome you are trying to achieve each step of the way.

Keep in mind, not every goal has to be monumental. Maybe your goal in making a call is to gain trust and build a bond, maybe it’s to secure an appointment to meet in person. Perhaps your prospect is not ready to make the commitment (close). That’s okay. However, still know what you intend to accomplish with each action.

3. Put First Things First: What is that you need to do to reach your goal. What are your priorities?

Begin with the end in mind and work backwards to today. Schedule in your BIG ROCKS and then fill in other less important tasks around those scheduled blocks of time.

Refrain from getting into the day-in/day-out flow. Actively plan your activities for each day. It can be easy to get lax in the sales process. Don’t expect your prospects to follow up with you. You need to take the initiative. If you wait until the perfect time or mood to cold-call, you probably won’t. If you don’t schedule your follow up communications, they probably won’t get done. If you don’t apply discipline and make your high-leverage activities top priority, you’ll squander your time and wonder again and again, “What happened to the day?”

4. Think Win-Win: Start with the attitude that you want the other person to get what they want and you also fully intend to get what you want.

If you start with this attitude, it will keep you from getting competitive and just going for what you want while alienating the other.

It will also keep you from becoming too compassionate (or even insecure), and just giving up on what you want, and letting others get their way. This is an all to common pit-fall for the salesperson.

The phenomenon shows up as not believing in your product or service enough to push for the close – allowing your prospect, who will truly benefit from what you have to offer, to slip through the cracks.

This also shows up when we get insecure about putting a price tag on the value of what we offer. Have you ever found yourself “giving away” far more of yourself and your time that you intended to? Have non-billable hours ever mounted up? Or has it ever happened that you have delivered services upon services without adequate compensation? These are examples of being low in courage and high in compassion.

Think Compassion and Courage. The compassion to look for a solution that will work for the other: the courage to make sure you are also looking for a solution that will work for you.

5. Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood: Discovery, Discovery, Discovery! Then, Be the Solution!

Use open-ended questions freely. Open ended questions help you understand the others issues, challenges, desires, and emotions. When you need specific details, ask clarifying question. Clarifying questions can usually be answered with a simple yes or no. Use these sparingly.

Listen empathetically, paraphrase and reflect back. Take as much time as needed to get as much information as possible. You may be working with prospects who are dealing with many emotions through this process. Empathy is extremely important.

Do not launch into your product/service and its benefits and features until you fully understand the needs, wants, fears, etc. of your prospect.

Then, use your new knowledge and understanding of your prospect to describe the benefit to them. Refrain from launching into a laundry list features and benefits of the product/service you have to offer. You may be talking yourself right out of the close as you confuse and dilute the client as well as the solution! You goal is to become the solution to their problem-not just a salesperson touting their greatness!

6. Synergize: Build the Relationship/Partnership.

If you can create solutions together better than either of you could independently, you will share a future of collaboration and partnership in all your endeavors.

Keep in mind that true synergy can only happen if you have followed the preceding habits – Think Win-Win, and Seek First to Understand…

7. Sharpen the Saw: Celebrate each step of the way – love the process!

There can be multiple steps in the sales process that can span over a significant period of time. Allow yourself to celebrate your successes within each phase. It can become overwhelming to focus only on the outcome and overlook the smaller achievements along the way.

In summary, to gain the full benefit of the 7 Habits experience, practice – practice – practice….. makes improvement.

As I mentioned, practicing the “7 Habits” is a lifelong learning process. As much as one might hope, the principles take discipline to incorporate into our daily lives. The outcomes are well worth the effort, however. It’s not sexy, but it is a journey on the path of a life worth living.

Practice them and make them yours…… I bet you can!

The thing that gets in the way of people most often, and the reason they are probably failing, is themselves and fear of failure.

“But I don’t know what to write about in an article”

“I don’t know what to say in a video”

“What would I say to anyone in auto-responder?”

“What would I have to write about that people would be interested in?”

“I don’t know what to say on the phone to a prospect”

“I’ll feel stupid if someone reads something I wrote and they don’t like it”

“I might lose $50 if I get this and it doesn’t work”

Here is my answer to all that. Who cares if you don’t know what to do just do something for your MLM business.

That was my cure. I got over the fear and just went after it. Does it really matter if someone reads something what you wrote and they don’t like it?

Here is a little secret for you…

Its not like they are going to jump out of the computer and laugh at you. You will never know it. More than likely they will just read it, not like it, move on to something else. Do you think they will remember that they didn’t like your article the next day? Nope, not at all.

What people care about is something that helps them attain some pleasure or avoid some pain…..everything else is filed away in the trash can.

But here is another secret.

Whatever you do will resonate with someone, guaranteed. Its just one of those “meta-physical, universal laws”. Someone will like what you write or say and do and naturally gravitate to you. So be yourself and provide true value to people out there.

OK, so whats the point?

So just do something to improve your business, get over yourself and your fear. The best cure for fear is ACTION.

For those moments of doubt, do this. Write down on a piece of paper what your goal is in your business. Whatever it is, get out of debt, pay off mortgage, get retirement income, stop living paycheck to paycheck. That is why many got into MLM in the first place, right?

Whenever that little fear monster creeps up and lands on your shoulder, ask yourself this, “Is doing something for my business worse than (insert your reason “why” here)?” The answer probably not.

Action always beats inaction 100% of the time, guaranteed.

Low Start-Up Costs. Traditional business start-ups and franchises can easily run from tens of thousands to millions of dollars with no guarantee of success.

Many MLM opportunities can be started for free, or less than a few hundred dollars.

Tax Benefits. Consult your tax advisor but a number of home based business professionals enjoy the benefits of writing off services such as internet access, phone line, computer supplies etc… in relation to running their business.

Added Income. The challenge on families to make ends meet is becoming more and more difficult. Many families find that by looking in to opportunities within MLM, they can supplement or even replace the income from their regular job.

So you want to start your online business from home but are too scared to take decisive action due to fear of failure? You have heard too many horror stories of how people’s dreams are dashed by lofty promises that never materializes. You are not alone. I and countless others have had to face this fear. But you know what? I’d rather try and fail than not try at all. Some people, including me conquer the fear of failure in starting an online business

Are you wondering why you haven’t attracted more money even when you’ve done everything you thought you needed to do?

What really works when it comes to attracting more money anyway?

I’ve written read all the  books about it and also work with the number one selling Law of Attraction program through www.themillionmindmarch.com.  I know how the Law of Attraction works and why so many people don’t clearly understand it.

When it comes to the Law of Attraction, most people initially want to learn how to use it to attract more money. Then they wonder how to attract romance, cars, homes, and happiness. But money is the starting place for most people.

So, how do you attract more money?

When it comes to attracting anything (money in particular), there are at least seven ways to do it effectively.

Here they are:

1. Give money away.

It sounds counterintuitive, yet the more you give, the more you will receive (unless you block the receiving, which ties in to the next step).

Give openly and freely to wherever you receive spiritual nourishment. Give on a regular basis. The rule of thumb is to give 10% of whatever you receive and give more when you feel inspired to do so.

Remember to give to the person, place, or group that is keeping your spirit alive. Just ask, “Where was I most inspired this past week?” and give freely to that source. Ask the question daily or weekly, as the source will often change.

Here’s an inside tip: When most people give money, they do it with a tight fist. They don’t give much. Why? It’s because they’re afraid. They’re holding on. Well, the energy of fear will attract more things to fear. Instead, give money with an open heart and an expectation of return. Give in love.

2. Get clear.

You may push money away with hidden limiting beliefs, such as “money is bad” or “rich people are evil.” Those are beliefs, not facts. Get clear of them and money will come to you (as long as you also do the next step).

Getting clear is truly The Missing Secret to making the Law of Attraction work for you all the time. After all, it isn’t your conscious intentions that are being manifested in your life – it’s your unconscious counterintentions.

For example, when you set a goal on New Year’s Day to stop smoking or date more, what happened the next week? You gave up your conscious goal for your unconscious belief that you couldn’t do it. You weren’t in alignment with your intention. You were not “clear.”

Most likely in your unconscious mind you have limiting beliefs about money, such as …

* “Money is evil.”
* “Money will attract problems.”
* “Money will make me a selfish person.”
* “Wanting money is greedy.”
* “Rich people are snobs.”

If you have one or more of those limiting beliefs within you, do you really think you’ll attract any money? In truth, you’ll attract NOT having money. Why? Because your unconscious counterintention (“Money is bad”) will veto your conscious intention (“I now attract more money into my life”).

Is it any wonder some people say the concept of the movie The Secret, or the Law of Attraction, doesn’t work? Obviously, once you clear those hidden blocks/beliefs – nothing will stand in the way of your success. The roadblocks will be gone.

One thing you can do right now is simply question your beliefs. Become a belief detective and look for any limiting beliefs about money. When you release your inner blocks, you will attract more money.

3. Take action.

Too many people sit and wait for money to materialize in front of them.

I believe in magic and miracles. And I also believe that your role in the process of attracting money is to actually do something to bring it your way. Act on your ideas right away. “Money likes speed” is my favorite mantra.

If you don’t act now, you’ll see your idea manifested some day, and somebody else will be attracting money from it. What can you do right now to move toward creating something that will attract more money? Whatever it is, do it now.

When you doubt and second-guess yourself, instead of taking action, you are demonstrating that you aren’t clear (see the second tip above) about money and your right to attract it.

Act now and get rich.

4. Support a cause.

You may push money away because you don’t feel you deserve it. One way around this (while you still work on getting clear inside yourself) is to want money for a larger purpose. I created Operation YES to end homelessness. Raising hundreds of thousands of dollars (or more) for that cause will remove any remaining prosperity limitations within me. While I won’t receive a dime from Operation YES, I will attract money to me in other ways, such as the contacts and goodwill I’ll create.

In short, you should want money for a larger reason than your own ego. This is a beautiful way to attract more money without wanting it only for yourself. Realize that when you are wealthy, you are better able to help family, friends, your community, and even the world. A good reason to attract more money is for all the good it can do for others, not just you. Ask yourself what cause would you support (or even create) once you attracted more money?

5. Get support.

One of the wisest things you can do to achieve any goal is create or join a mastermind group devoted to it. A mastermind group is a group of people who get together to work on a specific goal. Bill Hibbler and I wrote a complete book on how to do this, called Meet and Grow Rich.

The idea is to be around people who can keep your energy and inspiration high. While you can make progress on your own, it’s so much easier when you have support.

This support can also come in the way of audiotapes, books, and other learning tools. I’ve been buying audios for more than 30 years for just that reason. They help me stay focused on constantly growing and improving. Even when I was struggling, I went to the library and borrowed books and tapes to keep me informed and inspired. Today I can afford to buy my own materials because I invested in my education every step along the way.

Again, all of this is support that will help you attract more money.

6. Be grateful.

This is huge. Be thankful for the money you have (which is likely considered true wealth by people starving in third world countries) and you’ll begin to attract more money.

Gratitude sends off a signal of appreciation, which brings you more to be thankful for. Show gratitude for anything in this moment that you can be sincerely grateful for.

After I was homeless, and while I was still experiencing poverty, I began this exercise by holding an ordinary pencil and being grateful for it. Once I truly experienced gratitude, it shifted my energy vibe so I could then experience more to be grateful for. Today I have much to be thankful for. I have houses, cars, collectible guitars, and so much more. And it all began with a pencil.

Look around and ask yourself what you are grateful for right now. Then start to feel gratitude for it right away.

7. Do what you love.

There’s no sense in working at something you hate. If you are currently at a job you don’t like, find a way to enjoy it for the time being as you work toward finding your passion. Following your passion is the greatest secret of all when it comes to attracting wealth.

Everyone from Donny Deutsch to Donald Trump to Bill Gates to me agree that passion (combined with the other steps above) is your ticket to financial freedom. Even when I worked for oil companies back in Houston and didn’t like my work, I found ways to do what I loved. I wrote my first book during my lunch hours. I spoke on weekends and sold my book in the back of the room. Over time, doing what I love became my life. And today it’s my moment-by-moment wonder.

Ask yourself what you would do even if you were not being paid for it. That’s a clue as to what you should be doing and finding a way to be paid for it. You can attract more money from love.

Finally, expect success.

Expect that you are now attracting money and playfully looking around asking, “I wonder how big money will come to me today?” This is the mindset of expectation. It will keep your brain tuned in to seeking and finding opportunities.

And of course, you must take “inspired action” when you see those opportunities.

What makes MLM attractive to people is at the opportunity to talk and talk and walk up on stage? Is it the ability to be able to be around some great people follow some very successful and super achievers? Where is the ability to be able to create an income without having to create a whole business,

Many people get into the MLM industry and start to believe that by some stretch of the imagination that they can get into the business and then create a $10,000 a month business. That’s what most people’s goals are and the funny thing is that only 3% of them ever achieve that goal and why is that we feel we can achieve a goal,  without ever having to try,  but expect it just to happen that’s a big deal…. Because as many new people,  really good people …. are going by the wayside when in fact it this one of the greatest ways of creating residual income…. income on going over and over and over again without fail.

If I found out that if I can go ahead and create an income not based on hours but based on energy that was put out and know that the return will be in greater proportion than what I can make in a job that’s when the idea of MLM came into my mind when I really started to think about how I could create more of an income and not just trade my time for dollars which is what most people do it was ingrained in me that I should have a good job it was ingrained in me that if I would have a good job that I will be accepted by society accepted by people around me as a good guy. What I found out was that nobody really cares how much money you make…. except the government.

What I thought would be the acceptance that I was looking for by society was not really acceptance at all actually,  I found myself in a great world of debt and struggle out of trying to fit in.

I also found out that, I was remaining the same my income, my mind  but also in the way I felt about things in the way I dealt with things in the relationships with other people.  That nothing really changed it all stayed the same there was no growth there was no ability for growth and the only ability that I had for growth was basically to compete with other people.

On the job now a lot of people think that competition is  healthy and it’s fine…well I don’t give it much thought either way….. But I do know this when you get competitive everything else comes with that are the attitudes of competition, I want to compete against someone else for more money for more lifestyle for more of the a better deal on a better car or a better position and when I started myself on a cycle of competition, no true winners. No teamwork to feel better about yourself, only wanting to beat somebody else out and if it’s at the expense of other people. which is competing with one another and I found out that more times than not….when I was competing with somebody else it was because I was looking at somebody else and I was actually comparing myself to that person…….

I was comparing that what I had or didn’t have according to what someone else had or didn’t have…….. Is there competition in a rat race? In which most of us at least 97% of people stay in and want to run it.

It’s time for a new market to emerge and you can be at the top ….. It’s your turn…. See you there my friend…..

Have you tried a new idea?

Better yet can you hold a new idea?

Truly …. I DARE YOU ……. to think different….

Here is what most people don’t see.  They have trouble seeing that they can actually become aware of the way OUT of their  trouble.

Here is another point, they are usually hanging around the wrong people to get them to the next season in their business especially in an economic downturn.

You may think well thats why people go under because the demand goes away…. well think about the law of polarity every problem has an answer……

Every problem has an answer….

Now what problem are you trying to solve?

(I can’t believe i’m giving this away)

Most people will not try to solve a problem for someone else when they are in a problem, that’s the trick!  Try to find the situation where you can solve someone elses’ problem.  You say I can’t do that “I” need help.  Well, guess what, let’s see how that idea does for you.  Really, lets see how that serves you…

Until you trust in the laws that are here that will allow increase into your life …. the result will be struggle and regret.  When you decide to be the right person for someone else you will see the right people show up for you.

These are proven principles this is not rhetoric, however if you never put action to them I guess it can always sound like rhetoric……

Hey Everyone, thought I would post this… this is probably the most unprofessional blog in wordpress history, so if you were looking for the snazzy words and high affluent rhetoric, it’s in another area like CNN or CNBC. This is the freedom network… right here …. that’s right. I am looking for a few good men and women to read my blog, probably about 10k people… see not much.
Anyway for those of you who know me and maybe several that don’t, I have been reading, teaching, coaching on several different fronts, but this takes the cake.
It seems that everyone I have come in contact with seems to want to create more green…. yes, I mean money.
People are loosing their jobs and of course I can feel their pain “Why” you might ask? Because I left my job on a buyout 2 years ago. I was making a great wage and benefits and the wife and children were happy. We had 2 rental properties and the home we lived in. Wow, that was the life. Then when I left to start my own business because of fear in the air the economy seemed to be drying up. Again I said “It seemed to be.” My other friends who were speakers trainers and coaches were making money out in the field, however I was not and things got tighter and tighter. When all of a sudden I put myself to think and think real hard. I called a friend wrote down some goals and BANG weeks started moving and people started coming into my life I thought were all but gone. We have seen a rise in our business and our start-ups are taking a new angle.
Friends I want you to know this….. this was taught to me by the great Joe Schroeder as he pulled me to the side on a 1-1. Amazing increase is first about learning that you can invite whatever you desire-strong enough-into your life and then knowing HOW-TO manifest that dream into your life. That Is Amazing Increase

Here we go… another saga of attraction marketing. What happens when you are disappointed and moving toward not getting what you want.
Are you going to quit? Has that served you lately?
Why have you not yet made a sale or signed someone up to your deal that you said in the beginning was the best thing you have ever been apart of. You have come to the place again and again where the fire is gone and the desire seems to have left with the last sale you made.
What are you in this time… a 2 up Australian system. You got your buddy in and he paid $1000.00 dollars because you told him that he was going to make alot of money…. never quite happened that way did it. Then your money problems got even deeper when you could not sell that swampland to a third person. Well, just get out of this and try something else ….. like the lottery, you know that is the only thing you feel you have a good chance at since that in home business is not working fast enough.
When will you stop the pain of trying to get your pot of gold with fast way to riches! When will you grab a hold of the American dream and allow yourself to be in the drivers seat.
The Price is not as difficult as you thought, in fact it is right between your ears.
